Development of Industrial Robotics in Kazakhstan: Meeting with KUKA Türkiye & Middle East

Company news
Vexor representatives held a working meeting with colleagues from KUKA Türkiye & Middle East to discuss the future development of industrial robotics in Kazakhstan and the wider regional market.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current level of industrial automation, the key barriers to implementing robotic solutions, and practical approaches that could accelerate the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises.

Particular attention was given to the development of engineering competencies. One of the initiatives under consideration is the organization of hands-on training programs for engineers at the Vexor office in Astana using an industrial KUKA robot. This approach would allow specialists to gain practical experience in robot operation, maintenance, and programming.

The discussion also covered:

— development of local service and technical support;

— creation of a stock of essential spare parts;

— support for enterprises in selecting their first robotics projects;

— evaluation of the economic efficiency of robotic automation;

— organization of industrial tours to manufacturing facilities where robotics solutions are already successfully implemented.

Special attention was also paid to increasing the accessibility of robotics solutions for the machine-building and oil & gas sectors, including special cooperation programs and the development of local engineering expertise.

According to the participants, the industrial sector today requires not only access to modern robotic equipment, but also a clear implementation ecosystem that includes training, engineering support, service infrastructure, and real-world application cases.

The development of such initiatives could become an important step toward improving productivity, technological capability, and the global competitiveness of domestic industries.
