Vexor has started evaluating the use of a welding robot for its own production workshop.
At this stage, the focus is on testing different welding options and process parameters in order to better understand process stability, weld quality, and the practical aspects of using a welding robot in workshop conditions.
The current testing phase includes:
selection and adjustment of welding parameters
evaluation of weld quality and repeatability
observation of material behavior under different settings
gaining hands-on experience with robotic welding operation
The results of this work will be used to support further decisions regarding the development of robotic solutions in the workshop. In the future, robot-based solutions for laser cutting, bending, and milling operations may also be considered.
