Testing Industrial Marking for a Client: REA JET DOD Technology
Today we are conducting tests of industrial marking systems at a client’s request using Drop-on-Demand (DOD)technology from REA JET.
This printing method is widely used on production lines due to its high reliability and versatility.
What Does REA JET DOD Technology Offer?
The DOD system provides:
printing of text, logos, codes, and variable data up to 140 mm in height per print module;
stable operation at speeds up to 600 m/min;
high marking durability on various absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces;
reliable performance even in challenging conditions such as dust, vibration, and temperature fluctuations.
Why Test DOD if We Usually Recommend HR?
For this type of material, HR (High Resolution Inkjet) is usually the optimal solution thanks to its superior print quality and detail.
However, at the client’s request, we additionally tested the DOD system to compare:
marking durability,
symbol readability,
ink behavior in real production conditions.
